The Casino Rama has a seating capacity of 5,000 for concerts and other events, ten restaurants, 289 rooms, 2599 slot machines, and 110 table games. The Casino Rama first opened to the general public on July 31, 1996. It is owned by Chippewas of Rama First Nation and Ontario Lottery along with Gaming Corporation. Gateway Casinos and Entertainment Limited operate the Casino Rama. It underwent a multimillion-dollar renovation in the year 2013.
Casino Rama is one of the largest First Nations casinos in Canada. It hosts concerts, boxing matches, fighting competitions, public meetings, corporate events, and much more. Mixed Martial Arts Event in Ontario and Bellator Fighting Championship in 2011 were hosted at Casino Rama.
