The Red Bull Arena is located at 600 Cape May Street, Harrison, New Jersey. The venue is a soccer-specific stadium that currently serves home to the New York Red Bulls of Major League Soccer.
The arena is under the ownership of the Hudson County Improvement Authority and operated by Red Bull GmbH. It has a seating capacity of 25,000 people at a time along with 30 luxury suites and 1,000 premium seats. The venue was opened to the general public on March 20, 2010, with a construction cost of $200 million. The Rossetti Architects designed the architecture of the stadium. It features a partial transparent roof while being sited on the waterfront of Riverbend District. The arena is expected to be the new home to the New York City Rugby League (League 1) in 2020. The low and enclosed roof design is beloved for providing classical acoustics by holding, amplifying, and reflecting crowd noise onto the field.
