It first opened to the general public in 1979 as part of Helen Bonfils Theatre Complex, including the other four theatres. The venue is the largest of the four among the Halen Theatre Complex at the Denver Performing Arts Complex. This community and regional theatre is owned and managed by Denver's Arts and Venues.
