The Drake Hotel is a well-known hospitality venue located on Queen Street West in Toronto, Ontario. The Drake Hotel was opened as Small's Hotel in 1890, with the surrounding area being a central Canadian Pacific Railway hub. It was then one of the wealthiest neighborhoods in the city. The venue's acquisition was transferred to new owners in 1949, at which time they expanded the building and renamed it the Drake.
After renovations were complete, the venue reopened on February 14, 2004. Ownership has been expanded, and the current owners have opened a hotel in Wellington, the Drake General Store, and a few restaurants in Toronto.
