Firekeepers Casino and Hotel is a casino and hotel located between Battle Creek and Marshall, in Emmett Charter Township, Michigan. The venue broke ground on May 7, 2008, and opened for the public on August 5, 2009. It has a gaming space of 107,000 square feet (9,900 m2), and the casino is land-based. Firekeeper is owned and operated by the Nottawaseppi Huron Band of Potawatomi. The construction of this site was a joint venture between Shingobee Builders and Clark Construction. The other additions, along with the hotel, opened in December 2012.
Firekeepers Casino has 2,900 state-of-the-art slot machines along with 76 table games, including big six, craps, blackjack, roulette, and baccarat. The venue has five restaurants along with a sports bar and cabaret.
