Iration Idaho Botanical Garden Boise

The Idaho Botanical Garden (IBG) is known as a non-profit botanical garden located on 50 acres at North Old Penitentiary Road, Boise, Idaho. The garden was once used as the Old Idaho State Penitentiary’s farm and nursery until 1973. When the penitentiary closed, the land lay dormant for more than a decade. The gardens were first created in 1984 and is operated by private and non-profit 501 corporations.

The Idaho Botanical Garden has hosted many events so far from tours, special events for children and families, garden parties, and concerts.
