Wade stadium is an open baseball park located at the intersection of Grand Avenue in West Duluth, Minnesota. It has a seating capacity of around 4,200 people. The stadium was first opened to the general public on July 16, 1941, with a construction cost of 163,232 USD. It is also known as Frank Wade Municipal Stadium and dedicated as an honor to the former owner, Frank Wade. Currently, it is owned and operated by the City of Duluth. It has undergone some significant renovations in the year 2014 to meet the modern-day facility. Wade Stadium is famous for its short distance, high fences, and cold weather by nearby Lake Superior. It is home to the Duluth Huskies of Northwoods League and the College of St. Scholastica Baseball Team.
Wade stadium hosts various community events other than sports events.
