Dallas Open - All American Classic Ford Center at The Star Frisco

Ford Center at The Star is an indoor stadium located at 9 Cowboys Way, Francisco, Texas. The theatre has a seating capacity of around 12,000. The Ford Center is home to the Dallas Rattlers of Major League Lacrosse. It is also used for “Whataburger’s Friday Night Stars” every Friday to showcase Francisco Independent High School Varsity Football. The Ford Center opened to the general public in 2006. The Dallas Cowboys operate it. The construction cost of The Ford was estimated to be around $1.5 billion. Gensler architecturally designed the stadium.

The Rattlers played their first game at The Ford Center on April 29, 2018, against Denver Outlaws. The Ford Center has hosted many sports events including Steinfeld Cup 2017, Conference USA Men’s and Women’s Basketball Tournament 2018-2019, Welterweight World Championship Boxing Matches 2018, WBO light Heavyweight Title, Small College Basketball Super Hero Night, WWE Live, NCAA Division II Men Basketball Championship, NCAA II Elite Eight, and Ohio Valley Conference Basketball Tournament.

The Ford Center also hosted some large scale concerts performed by Hell Never Dies, Casting Crown, Rob Zombie, Jason Aldean, Kane Brown, Blake Shelton, Monkey Jam Journey, Reason to Drink, Monster Jam, Thomas Rhett, Alan Jackson, and Alabam along with several more. Guns and Hoses, Disney on Ice presents Frozen, and Hadi Shrine Circus are some of the other mesmerizing events held at The Ford Center.
