Nile Theater is a historical music and performance venue that is located in Mesa, Arizona. The venue is under the management of the Mantooth Group. The theater is known for taking the Arizona music scene by storm in no time. The “World Famous” Nile Theater, which is historically known for its voracious appetite; that is for memorable hardcore, metal, punk, and rock shows, is now streaming precious life-blood right into the desert. The special thing is, with one incredible kick-ass show at a time.
The historic Nile Theater is best-known for having a storied 94-year history in the beautiful Valley. It was originally founded as a movie theater that was eventually converted to a music venue, now known as The Nile Theater. The venue has been a staple of Mesa’s Main Street for many decades. The theater was closed in 2002 and reopened in 2010 under brand new ownership.
Recently, the theater underwent a major rebranding and renovation project. The previous two separate music venues and café are now modified and operate under one name: ‘The Nile.’ The venue experiences major to minor renovations here and there for maintenance and modern-day competition. Some of the notable changes to the theater include renovations to the bar area, an Egyptian Scarab beetle mural as a focal point, and new stage curtains.
