The baseball park is owned and operated by Clemson University, with a seating capacity of 6,272.
Doug Kingsmore Stadium underwent renovations in 2003, 2008, and 2015. The stadium hosted three Atlantic Coast Conference Baseball Tournaments, four NCAA super regionals, and 13 NCAA regionals. The Tigers have a .810 game-winning percentage for their all-time games played in Doug Kingsmore Stadium.
The renovations to Doug Kingsmore Stadium first started in the summer of 2002. HOK Sport, now Populous, completed the design. Yeargin Potter Shackelford Construction took over the construction responsibility. Before 2005, the giant replay screen, PawVision, was moved to Doug Kingsmore Stadium. It was previously used in the football stadium (1997–2004). The latest features included in the Doug Kingsmore Stadium are an Ornamental metal fence, an Enlarged & temperature-controlled press box, a Grand stairway entrance with a Hall of Fame area, enlarged dugouts, and enlarged concession stands.
