CINCH Timed Event Championship
Lazy E Arena is an entertainment facility located in Oklahoma City. The venue was established in December 1984 when the ’84 National Finals Steer Roping Finals were nearby. More than 25 championship events are held at the arena on an annual basis. It has a seating capacity of 7,200, which is completely enclosed and climate-controlled. The Lazy E Arena offers spectators the opportunity to witness Rodeo in a first-class facility. The venue serves as host to a long list of the most prestigious events in pro rodeo, such as Reba McEntire Pro-Celebrity, Pro Bull Riders Tour Challenge, Bullnanza, the Timed Event Championship of the World, OCA Range Round-Up, the 89ers PRCA Rodeo, and the Prairie Circuit Finals Rodeo.
The Lazy E Arena hosted world champions, personalities galore, and World championships. The McKinney Family from Midland, Texas, currently own the venue. The owners have long recognized the tremendous facility and the arena’s importance in Rodeo and Oklahoma history. The owners are highly committed to maintaining the venue as the World’s premier western entertainment facility. The arena underwent several renovations and expansions since its inauguration. Some of the former owners of the arena are Gaylord, who sold the venue to a partnership from Nevada, and finally, it was bought by the current family.
