The Viaero Event Center, formerly known as the Firstier Event Center and Kearney Event Center, is a multi-purpose arena located at 609 Platte Road, Kearney, Nebraska. It is the home field of the 2016 USHL Clark Cup Champions Tri-City Storm ice hockey and some former teams, including the Tri-City Diesel arena football and Nebraska Cranes basketball. The venue was open to the public on November 18, 2000, with a construction cost of $10.5 million. The official seating capacity of the site is around 5,000. It is owned and operated by Story Hockey, LLC. The venue features twenty luxury suites in the facility, six concession stands, the premium club, the Bud Light Storm Shelter sports bar, and Portable concession locations.
The Viaero Event Center is a modern venue used for performances, trade shows, conventions, concerts, and other events. Many of the world’s most prominent artists are set to hit the stage of the venue every year.
