Duke Energy Convention Center - Cincinnati OH
2026 Redsfest - Multiday Pass (01/16 - 01/17)
The Duke Energy Convention Center is in downtown Cincinnati, Ohio. The convention center covers two city blocks surrounded by 5th Street, 6th Street, Elm Street, and Central Avenue. The venue opened for the public in 1968. It was formerly known as the Convention-Exposition Center, but later on November 14, 1985, it was renamed the Albert B. Sabin Convention and Exposition Center. The city sold the center's naming rights to Delta Air Lines in 1999, and the company determined the current name. The Duke Energy Convention Center was renovated and expanded in 2006.
The 750,000-square-foot facility's day-to-day operations are taken care of by property management company Spectra. Some of the annual events at the Duke Energy Convention Center are RedsFest, Cincinnati Winter Beer Fest, Cincinnati Auto Expo, and Cincinnati Home and Garden Show.
Some of the notable events at the Duke Energy Convention Center include the 2012 World Choir Games, the opening ceremony and the closing ceremony hosted by the convention center, and the games' awards ceremonies. In 1977, the center served host to the 1977 National Rifle Association annual convention.
